1. Overview

SnapMeals: Pantry & Recipes (“SnapMeals”) provides food scanning, nutrition label scanning, barcode scanning, pantry tracking, grocery lists, AI recipe generation, meal planning, leftover help, budget meal planning, nutrition goal tracking, recipe import, voice cooking assistance, and family planning tools.

By using SnapMeals, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Checking official food labels, ingredients, allergens, expiration dates, and dietary suitability before consuming any food
  • Not relying solely on SnapMeals for allergy, medical, or dietary decisions
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Ensuring that information you provide (allergies, preferences, pantry items) is accurate

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

AI-generated recipes, nutrition suggestions, health scores, ingredient explainers, healthier swap recommendations, and meal plans may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific needs. SnapMeals uses AI models that can make mistakes.

4. Not Medical Advice

SnapMeals is not medical advice. SnapMeals is not a doctor, dietitian, allergist, nutritionist, pharmacist, or emergency service. Always consult a qualified health professional before making changes to your diet, especially if you have allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, diabetes, kidney disease, eating disorders, or special dietary needs.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Subscription billing is handled through Stripe.
  • SnapMeals offers Free, SnapMeals Pro, and SnapMeals Family plans with different feature limits.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription from the Billing section inside the app.
  • Cancellation stops future charges but does not retroactively refund past payments unless otherwise required by law.

6. Account Deletion

You can request account deletion at any time through the app (Settings > Data & Privacy), by visiting snapmealsapp.com/delete-account, or by emailing [email protected].

7. Limitation of Liability

SnapMeals is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapMeals shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on nutrition data, allergy alerts, AI-generated content, or scan results.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SnapMeals after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
