Account Deletion

Deleting your SnapMeals account is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Inside the App

Log in to SnapMeals → Settings > Data & Privacy > Delete Account

Option 2: Email Request

Email us from the same email address used for your SnapMeals account.

Subject: Delete my SnapMeals account

Request Account Deletion

Data That Will Be Deleted

  • Account profile
  • Pantry data
  • Grocery list data
  • Meal plans
  • Scan history (photo, barcode, label)
  • Recipe imports and saved recipes
  • Nutrition goals
  • Allergy and diet preferences
  • Family profile data connected to your account
  • Shared pantry and shared grocery records connected to your account (where applicable)

Data That May Be Retained

  • Billing records
  • Tax records
  • Fraud prevention logs
  • Security logs
  • Legal compliance records
  • Records needed to complete subscription, refund, or dispute handling

Subscriptions & Account Deletion

Subscription cancellation and account deletion are related but separate. If you have a paid subscription (SnapMeals Pro or SnapMeals Family), please cancel or manage your billing before deleting your account. Stripe billing records may remain as required for legal and financial compliance.
